Meet the Team

Principal GP: Dr Kumuthuni Ramachandran LRCP&S, DRCOG, DFFP, PG, Dip

Dr Rama is the Principle GP at Jenner House Surgery and is married with 3 grown up children.  She lives in Farnham and has been at Jenner House Surgery for over 20 yrs. In addition to her day job, Dr Rama specialises in Ophthalmology providing a weekly clinic at Frimley Park Hospital

Dr Gargi Tewari MRCGP, MD

Dr Tewari joined us as a permanent GP in August 2016 and works 4 days per week.  She completed her GP training at Kent Deanery.  She is married with an 8-year-old daughter living just outside of London and has recently returned from a month-long trip to India.  Her passion is dermatology.

Dr Asef Zafar MRCGP

Dr Zafar joined us in August 2016 and quickly settled in to be a popular member of our Clinical Team.   He has a special interest in Mental Health.  In his spare time, he enjoys fundraising through marathon walks and cycling. He is a keen sportsman playing both football and cricket.

Dr Anika Pabari – BMedSci (Hons) BMBS MRCGP DRCOG

Dr Pabari joined us in October 2016 as an interim GP.  Anika spent a year in Emergency Medicine before beginning her training as a GP. Anika has a special interest in Women’s Health.

Practice Manager Marie Edwards

Marie has been the Practice Manager at Jenner House Surgery for 11 years. She lives in Fleet and is married to Paul and has a Son and two grandchildren.

She fell in love with General Practice in her mid-thirties and after working hard for a business degree she landed her dream job at Jenner House. Marie manages the overall running of the Practice and her responsibilities include Finance, HR, Strategic Planning & Patient services. She is passionate about developing new innovative ways of providing high quality healthcare services to our 10,000 patients.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners: Ros Canty and Kul Athwal

     

Ros is the Diabetic & COPD Clinical Lead for the Practice. Her care of our Diabetic & COPD Patients is outstanding and our outcomes have improved significantly in these Chronic Disease Areas.  Ros is a qualified prescriber and therefore deals with our Urgent on-the day-care in addition to her Chronic Disease monitoring. She acts as a mentor to the Nursing Team and provides unlimited support.  Ros lives with her Husband, has two grown up children and a gorgeous Grandson!

Kul is a very experienced Nurse Practitioner who works with us 3 full days a week on our Urgent Care Team.  As an extended Prescriber Kul also teaches & examines Nurse prescribing students.  Kul is also clinical lead practitioner at an Urgent Care Centre in Berkshire and has an interest in Diabetes.

Nurse Practitioner: Natalie Webb

Natalie is an experienced Nurse Practitioner carrying out a wide range of clinics from complex wound dressing to travel advice. Natalie is part of the Urgent Care Team, carrying out Triage and seeing patients requiring on-the-day treatment. Natalie is also a qualified prescriber.  Natalie has a special interest in Diabetes and provides daily support to the Nursing Team.

Senior Practice Nurse Sandra Whelan

Sandra has been with us for over 20 Years and is a much-loved member of our team.  Sandra carries out all Treatment Room Nursing such as Cytology, administering specialised injections, wound dressings and removal of stitches.  She is the clinical lead for childhood immunisations and runs the clinic on Thursday mornings.  Sandra has three grown up children and is very excited to be a new Grandma!  Sandra works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday mornings.

Our Physiotherapist Neil Copeman

 

Neil is a fully qualified Physiotherapist who has been working with us since June 2016 providing 3 clinics per week. Patients with new (not on-going) back, neck, knee, shoulder or joint pain or have sustained a recent sports injury can book an appointment with Neil normally within 7 days.  This is a 15-minute assessment and all patients will leave the consultation with a management plan for their condition; this could include pain management, exercises or some physiotherapy follow up.

Health Care Assistants: Laura and Sue

  

Laura has worked with us for almost 2 years.  Laura’s skills include: Phlebotomy, NHS Health Checks, Anti Coagulation monitoring, Spirometry, 24 hour BP monitoring, flu vaccinations and assists Natalie in our Leg Ulcer dressing clinics.   Laura has a 9-year daughter and she is getting married in July!

Sue has been a HCA for over 12 years.  She joined us in November 2016 and is already a very important member of the team. Living in Yateley, Sue is married with 2 grown up children, enjoys keeping fit with regular hikes along the seafront!

The Pharmacists

We would also like to introduce our Pharmacists – Jo Chater & Sanjeet Singh. They are working with us as part of an NHS England 3-year Pilot scheme to introduce Pharmacists to assist Doctors in General Practice.  They will be seeing patients for Medication Reviews and answering patient queries. They have already made a significant contribution & are already part of the team at JHS.

The Admin Team

Our team wouldn’t be complete without the hard-working Admin Department who keep us all organised, making sure that all referrals are completed, recalling patients for health checks, annual monitoring & completing all those Insurance Reports!  We would be lost without them!
