We have been informed by the NHS that the turnaround time for Cervical Smear results is currently running in excess of 14 days.
The NHS reported that less than 50% of women received their result within 14 days during April. It is anticipated that this will be even lower for May.
The NHS has put this delay down to the Cyber attack.
